MESSAGE FROM THE VISION BEARER

Dear WLU Family, Partners and Friends, 

The first half of 2026 has been a season of foundations, and foundations, by nature, are built to hold weight.Over the past six months, With Love Uganda has made meaningful progress across every pillar of our shared vision. On the Hospital Project, we have moved from concept to concrete action: site planning is underway, architectural drawings are in progress, and we are on course for council submission. The Satellite City initiative continues to take shape as a bold answer to the housing and livelihood aspirations of our members. Through the Business Elevation Programme, we have deepened our commitment to member economic empowerment, and we are actively exploring its positioning as a readiness pathway, connecting community capital to national frameworks. Internally, we have grown as an organisation. Our EXCO structure is now fully operational across eleven functional dockets, each with named leadership and clear accountability. We have strengthened our data systems, deepened member engagement through our Cell network, and held ourselves to a new standard of transparency, including presenting our audited financial statements to members. This Half Year Report covers the period January to June 2026. It is an honest account of milestones reached, lessons learned, and the work still ahead. We are grateful for every member who has chosen to pay, believe, but more importantly own this vision and dedicate their efforts to growing the Family. The 10K Project is adeclaration that ordinary Ugandans can build extraordinary institutions. Together, we are proving that love, when organised, becomes power.
